About the role.

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative based in North America to join Solo.io. The SDR role is responsible for building a pipeline for Solo Account Executives (AE’s) to drive incremental revenue. The person who joins has previous outbound sales development experience in B2B technology and is looking for the opportunity to grow with Solo!

We’re open to Remote across the US, but location preference is in the Northeast. 

Job Description:

  • This role is a hybrid inbound and outbound sales development role; SDRs will partner closely with their designated Account Executives to develop and execute strategies for inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting
  • Study Solo.io’s industry, product, and the challenges we solve for customers
  • Identify and prospect key players within target accounts aligned with our target personas; cleanse and upload prospect data to action on
  • Execute omni-channel sales development activities (email, call video, social, etc)
  • Qualify inbound MQLs and intent leads to nurture and convert them into qualified meetings for the sales team
  • Achieve and exceed performance metrics and KPIs including meetings booked and daily/weekly activities across the above channels
  • Follow up and qualify contacts from promotions, events, and other marketing and sales activities
  • Travel to in-person meetings and events as needed 
  • Attend meetings with AEs, peers, and manager

Job Requirements:

  • 0.5-1+ years of outbound SDR experience
  • Proficiency in using sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Expandi, Orum 
  • Focus and attention to detail; commitment to upholding quality standards
  • Excellent people skills; ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external prospects
  • Good team player with entrepreneurial spirit

Desired Skills:

  • Experience using contact databases such as Zoominfo, Seamless, or LeadIQ
  • Experience using Sales Navigator is a plus
