Summary

Anaconda is seeking a talented Senior Product Manager to join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science and machine learning. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Represent their product and how it contributes to product strategy and requirements for major product areas.
  • Synthesize user and field feedback and set expectations for short and long-term plans.
  • Write clear and compelling Themes, Epics, and User stories.
  • Lead development and refinement of user personas.
  • Be seen as a key technical influencer by sales engineering teams and able to represent the whole portfolio in discussions.
  • Write and deliver strong technical content for end users and field teams.
  • Ensure user stories and Epics are ready to start work with full details and acceptance criteria.
  • Mentor team members
  • Regularly conduct product demos and presentations externally
  • Identify opportunities to create new processes and programs, and can create and implement them
  • SME on your market’s needs and the customer’s views of how the team is implementing a product feature.
  • Plan 3-96 month roadmaps
  • Negotiate and balance feature requests vs. commitments and roadmap
  • Assess defects and make the call as to whether resolution takes priority over product roadmap.
  • Align stakeholders across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and service teams
  • Motivate the team and be a leader for all members of the team
  • Consensus builder but ultimate decision-maker for product direction
  • Sets go-to-market strategy and plan for releases with product marketing
  • Define and challenge market-fit
  • Develop pricing and packaging for their product
  • Competitive analysis
  • Perform market and competitive research

What You Need:

  • Hands-on experience with Pragmatic Marketing, Scrum Alliance, 280 Group or similar framework. 
  • Experience product managing multiple products from definition through delivery and end-of-life
  • Hands-on experience defining user problems. 
  • Knowledge of customer IT and data science environments (preferred)
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles
  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching products
  • Development of roadmaps with increasing value proposition
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Willingness to fill the gaps
  • GSD attitude
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage up
  • Understanding of core business metrics, like Revenue, ARR/MRR, and churn
