Grafana Cloud is our composable observability platform that integrates metrics, logs, and traces with Grafana. It allows our customers to leverage the best open source observability software – including Prometheus, Mimir, Loki, and Tempo – without the overhead of installing, maintaining and scaling their own observability stack.
The Observability Frontend team is focused on making data intake into Grafana easier by providing data source integrations with prebuilt dashboards and alerts for common use cases. We want customers to easily and reliably monitor all of their servers and applications with Grafana Cloud.
We own the Grafana Cloud integrations which provide easy to use pre-built dashboards and alerts to monitor a host of popular observability targets as well as our SaaS integrations which are completely hosted solutions. The team is also responsible for our AWS Observability solution, Kubernetes, Asserts and new emerging monitoring products.
As a company we are remote-first and global, we embrace people of different experiences and backgrounds to build diverse teams where every person brings a new perspective to the software. We are looking for Frontend Engineers that are passionate about providing seamless experiences for our customers to join our growing team! Our stack is Typescript + React (interacting with backends written in Golang). Frontend Engineers at Grafana also have the opportunity to contribute to Open Source communities.
As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will be working on the frontend for one of our cloud products. You could also be contributing to one of our open-source projects.
Grafana Labs is the company behind Grafana, the de facto standard Open Source dashboarding tool for visualizing and analyzing metrics. Grafana is commonly used for infrastructure and application monitoring, but we've also seen installations to monitor things like beehives, power-plants, or even ambulances. Grafana's mission is to democratize metrics: users can create dashboards that help them get insights into how their applications behave, enabling them to iterate, take action and improve faster. Commercially, Grafana Labs sells enterprise support plans and has a hosted metrics/logs offering.
We are a family- & pet-friendly company (lots of us have kids, both of the human and fur-kind) and consider ourselves a remote/distributed company-- something we have been doing for years now. Even if you are located near our office in Stockholm, working from home is both common and encouraged.
This is a remote opportunity and we would be interested in applications from EST and EMEA time zones.

We know that data has incredible power to solve complex problems, transform business, drive innovation, and ultimately make the world a better place. The unfortunate reality is that the data we need often lives all over the place in disparate systems across geos, platforms, servers, and more.
It's our mission as Grafanistas to unite data, no matter where it lives, and empower our users to analyze, take action, and make smart decisions.
Building a powerful product takes a village – from engineering to customer success to people operations and beyond. What’s your calling?
