Location: Burnsville, MN (55306) Onsite
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Pay Rate: Associate Level (Based on Experience)

Primary Responsibilities:
* Create, monitor and approve software artifacts
* Interface with external customers and certification authorities.
* Interface with internal cross functional and cross site team members
* Support legacy products
* Develop and execute software standard work
* Work in small to large software teams that include external source team members
* Requirements generation, design and architecture development, integration, verification, validation, and document for existing and new products
* Execution of software development process in accordance with RTCA DO 178B C at the specified design assurance level
* Software and hardware system integration tasks on embedded target hardware
* Software development in an embedded system environment in support of traditional and non traditional (AI ML) algorithms
* Provide coaching and mentor of software team members

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree (Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) ) and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
* Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR
* In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
* Must be a U.S. Person Permanent Resident Green Card holder
* Engineering experience developing embedded software in a regulated industry
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5%)
* Proficient in C Programming Language and Python

Preferred Qualifications:
* Linux or Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
* Experience and or academic knowledge in AI Machine Learning Computer Vision (CV)
* Embedded software development experience with ARM processor architectures
* Linux Kernel and open source software
* Automated software test frameworks e.g. Robot Framework
* Experience with cybersecurity software architecture and design
* Commercial Aerospace communication interfaces and standards e.g. ARINC 429
* Agile, or Scaled Agile Framework (SaFE) experience
