Opportunity

Airbyte is seeking a founding East-Coast Mid Market Account Executive to join our sales team, reporting directly to the head of sales.  This individual will be charged with closing a list of accounts (inbound and outbound) that fit within our Ideal Customer Profile.  This role will be primarily selling into the CTO / CIO organization with frequent interaction with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Heads of Engineering, Developers, Data Scientists, etc.  Due to the size of these companies and total addressable employee base, landing new business and small footprint deals will grow your client base, but the key to overachievement will be Landing & Expanding from single departments to company-wide deployments.  Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure, api-based data connections, and database replication is a plus.  This is a unique opportunity to be part of the early stage of a hyper-growing sales function with a strong product-led growth motion.

 
What You'll Do
  • Run SDR qualified opportunities (BANT) to close through POC, Trial Process, Activation or traditional sales-led process.
  • Own the deal cycle from Qualified to Activation/Trial, POC, and Closed-Won
  • Manage and close 1 - 2 month deal cycles within the CTO / CIO Org at ICP qualified companies.
  • Share in prospecting / outbound efforts.
  • Own relationship building, deal formulation, networking, and diligently tracking towards a credit bookings target (quota)
  • Act as a conduit for competitive intel, feature requests, customer requirements to our product, marketing, executive, and engineering teams
  • Keep a clean up to date (weekly) pipeline that is 10x quarterly quota
 
What You'll Need
  • 3 Years AE Experience  within SaaS / Cloud / Data Warehousing

Salary for this job- $75,000- $100,000 + variable compensation (for roles that apply) + a generous equity package, and benefits listed above for US Market. For countries outside of the US we offer benefits and localized salaries based on your region or area.
