We are hiring engineers with experience in Ruby/Rails, both Engineer and Senior Engineers! We have a variety of open roles across the group and are growing fast!
Things you might work on:
- Improving the scalability, performance, and reliability of our core CI engine
- Adding GitLab Runner support to new platforms
- Expanding Pipeline Authoring capabilities to make it easier for customers to configure and visualize complex pipelines
- Implementing deeper integrations with other GitLab features such as Continuous Delivery, Observability, Infrastructure as code, and more!

Experience you'll need:
- Professional experience with Ruby on Rails
- Working knowledge of CI/CD
- Have the ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex problems
- Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote work environment
- Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills
Experience that will set you apart:
- Previous experience working on high scale or highly critical systems
- Previous experience running services in production
- Experience with the GitLab product as a user or contributor
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to architecture design
- Product company experience
- Experience working with a globally distributed, remote team
