You will join our 3 person ReOps team and manage participant recruitment for UX research studies, evangelise UX Research at GitLab, and develop and improve research operations processes that enable our research efforts to succeed and deliver impact efficiently.

What you can expect in a UX Research Operations Coordinator / Senior UX Research Operations Coordinator role at GitLab:

  • Manage all aspects of participant recruitment for user experience research studies, including but not limited to: recruiting from multiple sources, outreach, screening, scheduling, participation agreements, privacy, and incentives management.
  • Identify team needs and gaps. Continuously examine, experiment, and measure improvements to our research operations and processes.
  • Grow, foster, and administer new participant panels, along with our existing panel, GitLab First Look.

  • Maintain UX research operations handbook documentation with accurate, standardized, and transparent processes and procedures.

  • You've got exquisite organizational skills. Regularly managing multiple research operations projects at a time will be no issue for you.
  • Your written and verbal communication skills allow you to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and external participants.
  • You're excitied by the prospect of improving our research operations processes and your prior experiences developing processes for research teams will set you up for success.
  • Our values of Collaboration, Results, Efficiency, Diversity, Iteration, and Transparency resonate with you.
  • You'll thrive in an environment where self-learning and self-service are encouraged and instilled as a part of our culture.

Some of the benefits you'll be entitled to vary by the region or country you're in. However, all GitLab team members are fully remote and you can work incredibly flexible hours enabled by our asynchronous approach to communication. We'll also help you set up your home office environment, pay for your membership to a co-working space and contribute to the travel costs associated with meeting other GitLab employees across the world. We don't count the number of days you take off in a year, too.
