Job Description

Grafana Labs is searching for a GTM Finance Manager to join our Finance and Strategy team to help build our Go-To-Market (GTM) financial planning and analysis efforts. We are looking for a top performer, results-oriented, with a track record of accomplishing objectives in a complex environment. Equally important is solid business judgment, high integrity, and the ability to partner with the GTM leadership team. In this role, you will regularly collaborate with the senior leadership, business, and functional teams worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a fast-growth corporate environment, supported organizations to scale for rapid growth, and a history of experience that includes public company environment and operating requirements. Prior experience with subscription businesses/SaaS is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience Business Partnership - Lead strategic, financial and operating planning process for the customer experience organization
  • Develop robust driver-based top-line, resourcing, financial and ROI models to support business objectives
  • Embed with the business and provide strategic finance partnership 
  • Establish and track metrics / KPIs to monitor business results and drive stakeholder accountability
  • Revenue - Own and manage the company revenue model
  • Distill revenue into relevant key metrics to drive in-depth modeling and analysis
  • Analyze revenue results  and communicate messages to senior management, including risks and opportunities
  • Build revenue scenarios to address business questions and evaluate new revenue streams
  • General - Partner with other finance teams (accounting, investor relations, and tax) to support month-end close, flux review processes, and financial reporting
  • Analyze monthly results and trending data to support the monthly forecast and include risk and opportunity assessments
  • Refine data systems and tools to track performance, provide reporting solutions and enhance operational insights
  • Assist in projects in support of strategy and business development initiatives
  • Build outstanding and effective relationships with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of directly applicable experience with time spent in Finance/FP&A positions within a top technology company 
  • Experience owning GTM aspects of quarterly/annual planning
  • Knowledge and skills with sales tools (SFDC) and  planning tools (Adaptive Insights)
  • Proven success serving as a change agent in a high-growth and scale environment
  • Public company quarterly close and reporting cadence experience is preferred
  • Ability to operate at multiple altitudes, prioritize workload and manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Have exceptional business instincts and use that knowledge to help inform significant company decisions
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail while delivering against tight deadlines
  • Highest ethical standards, integrity, authenticity, credibility, and character
  • Strong track record of maintaining relationships and communicating with a wide range of partners

In the United States, the base compensation range for this role is $131,000- $157,000.  Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable), and other benefits listed on our careers page.
