The Strategic Partner Development Manager will create and deliver strategies, plans, and execution roadmaps to enable Fortra’s strategic partners to drive short and long-term growth opportunities. In addition, the Strategic Partner Development Manager will closely collaborate with the Vice President, Channel, to ensure the plans and programs developed for strategic partners will align with the broader strategy of the Fortra Channel based on an intelligent recruitment and development strategy. 

 WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Using input from Finance reporting and key business unit resources is responsible for creating strategies, plans, and execution roadmaps to enable identified strategic partners for revenue growth
  • Provide ongoing management of strategic partnership execution roadmaps while identifying new business and revenue-generating opportunities
  • Enable strategic partner deal support, cross-functional planning, relationship management, and analytical insights
  • Work with the marketing team to develop compelling partner enablement collateral/documents that showcase Fortra’s value proposition to help drive revenue growth of strategic partners
  • Collaborates with the local channel sales teams and holds them accountable relative to field alignment for the ongoing enablement of existing strategic partners and to provide feedback/data points for potential strategic partners
  • Identify and develop KPIs to measure and track the success of strategic partner development and enablement programs and to identify opportunities to improve ongoing relevance, value, and growth; provide regular reporting on progress
  • Establish and foster strong working relationships and work in close collaboration with VP, Channel, and Manager, Global Channel Program to understand key strategies and manage successful build and execution of channel development and enablement programs
  • Additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in managing Channel Partners, Channel Partner Programs, Channel Enablement, and/or Channel Development
  • Experience in creating action plans utilizing feedback from key stakeholders
  • Ability to own and manage projects from initiation to completion
  • Demonstrable ability to plan and prioritize work while responding flexibly to changing priorities
  • Comfortable working with individuals across multiple teams in a matrixed organization
  • Able to successfully collaborate and communicate with varied levels of management both internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • International experience preferred
