About the Role
The Treasury Analyst is an integral part of the Treasury team, responsible for day-to-day cash management operations, banking relationships, and the accurate accounting and reporting of all treasury activities. This role requires a strong understanding of financial transactions, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments to safeguard the company’s financial health.
As a key link between banking execution and the general ledger, you will ensure global liquidity is optimized, payments are securely processed, and all transactions are recorded precisely within NetSuite. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who maintains the highest standards of AML compliance and internal control while navigating multi-currency environments and automated financial workflows.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cash Management & Daily Operations
- Cash Positioning: Monitor daily cash positions to ensure optimal liquidity across global bank accounts and legal entities.
- Payment Execution: Execute daily banking activities (Wires, ACH, and internal transfers) and manage the setup and verification of secure banking templates.
- Forecasting & Collaboration: Develop short-term daily and weekly cash flow forecasts; partner with Accounts Payable, Receivable, Tax, and Payroll to refine projections and improve accuracy.
- Bank Administration: Manage the Bank Account Lifecycle, including coordinating the opening, closing, and maintenance of global bank accounts.
- Oversee authorized signatory lists and banking mandates to ensure they remain current and compliant.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Treasury Systems and electronic banking portals.
- Manage banking partner relationships and resolve service provider inquiries.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Variance Analysis: Analyze and report on cash flow trends, variances, and financial risks to provide insights for management decision-making.Reconciliation: Perform timely bank account reconciliations and investigate/resolve discrepancies within the General Ledger.
- Month-End Close: Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing treasury-related journal entries and ensuring accurate reporting of cash.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Conduct specialized financial analysis and provide data-driven support for corporate finance initiatives.
3. Risk, Compliance & Control
- AML & Sanctions Screening: Perform primary AML and Sanctions screening for all outbound payments; maintain up-to-date KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation for all banking partners.
- Internal Controls: Ensure all activities strictly comply with internal controls (SOX), company policies, and global regulatory requirements.
- Audit Support: Assist in the collection and organization of documentation for internal and external audit providing accurate documentation and evidence for treasury and cash activities.
- Policy Development: Assist in drafting and maintaining treasury policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and transaction documentation.
Qualifications
Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in corporate finance or accounting.
- Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of cash management, banking operations, and internal financial controls (SOX).
- Global Operations: Knowledge of international banking practices, including multi-currency environments and FX basics.
- Compliance: Familiarity with AML/KYC protocols and the importance of digital audit trails in a treasury environment.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivots, VLOOKUPs) and experience with NetSuite (or a similar ERP system).
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail with the ability to work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; comfortable working cross-functionally with global stakeholders.
Preferred (not required):
- 1–2 years of direct experience in a corporate treasury function.
- Regional experience specifically dealing with European and APAC banking framework and regulations.
- Experience with automated workflow routing and Straight-Through Processing (STP).
- Adept at navigating multi-layered software interfaces and adapting quickly to new financial technologies.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay Range: [$60,000 – $70,000 annually] In accordance with applicable law, this represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location and may be more or less than the amount shown above. Outside of base compensation, CloudBees also offer stock options and variable bonuses.
