Customer Adoption Engineer

Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a Customer Adoption Engineer to help new customers successfully adopt our DevSecOps platform. You will work alongside Adoption Leads to build the workflows, integrations, and sample applications that customers need to get up and running.

This is a technical, hands-on role. You will spend most of your time building. This will include activities like configuring CI/CD pipelines, setting up integrations with tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions, creating sample applications in specific tech stacks, and ensuring our platform works well within each customer's environment. While the Adoption Leads handle most direct customer interaction, you will be the engine behind successful engagements.

The ideal candidate is technically strong and eager to learn. You should be comfortable working across different tech stacks and figuring things out as you go. You don't need to have all the answers, but you need to be resourceful and persistent in finding them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and configure workflows, integrations, and sample applications for customer onboarding engagements
  • Test and validate that customer requirements can be met with the platform before and during engagements
  • Maintain and expand the library of reusable onboarding assets (templates, sample apps, documentation, etc.)
  • Keep reusable assets current as new product features are released
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during customer onboarding
  • Collaborate with Adoption Leads to understand what each engagement requires and deliver it
  • Work with engineering teams to escalate and resolve platform issues

Expected Impact

  • Customers receive working, well-tested configurations that get them to value quickly
  • A growing library of high-quality, reusable assets that accelerates future engagements
  • Real-world feedback on product gaps and issues flows back to the product and engineering teams
Requirements

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in a software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering role
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
  • Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work across unfamiliar environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a resourceful, figure-it-out attitude
  • Good written communication skills for documentation and async collaboration
  • Comfortable working independently and asynchronously with a distributed team.
