We are looking for a motivated AI Adoption Intern to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will work at the intersection of engineering, AI tooling, and internal process improvement. You will help teams structure their AI initiatives, validate automation ideas, improve cross-team visibility of AI solutions, optimize internal workflows, analyze requirements, and ensure the smooth operation of key business processes.
CloudLinux is a leading provider of Linux-based operating systems and security solutions for web hosting providers. Our products, including CloudLinux OS, KernelCare, and Imunify360, are used by thousands of companies worldwide.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Map AI initiatives across engineering teams - identify what tools are used, who owns them, and how components are connected
- Conduct structured technical discovery - talk to engineers, extract key information, and turn it into clear diagrams or concise documentation
- Identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities in internal workflows
- Write and maintain product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use-case scenarios
- Prototype lightweight internal tools or scripts to validate ideas before full-scale development
- Explore and test AI tools (LLMs, agents, integrations) and document practical findings
- Maintain and improve centralized GitLab repositories with shared AI assets (for example MCP servers and internal AI utilities)
- Help improve internal AI adoption standards and cross-team transparency
- Participate in planning sessions, standups, grooming meetings, retrospectives, and design reviews
- Collect user and stakeholder feedback to refine product usability and discoverability
- Prepare structured summaries and insights from raw data

What we’re looking for:
- Technical background or technical education (Computer Science, Engineering, or similar)
- Ability to create clear, structured requirements

- Basic Python skills for scripting, automation, and rapid prototyping
- Practical experience using LLMs or AI tools in real tasks - not just casual prompting
- Experience in building or overseeing a project
- Experience working with Git and navigating repositories (GitHub or GitLab)
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation and system architecture at a high level
- Strong communication skills - ability to extract complex technical information and present it clearly and concisely
- Proactive mindset - ability to identify gaps, suggest improvements, and move ideas forward with limited supervision
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Comfortable working across teams and asking clarifying questions
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
Nice to have:
- Experience experimenting with AI agents, integrations, or MCP
- Experience building Python-based prototypes or automation tools
- Public GitHub projects demonstrating experimentation or prototyping
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Notion, Slite, or similar tools.
